Havre aux Glaces: Espresso and Chocolate
The ice cream at Havre aux Glaces is so creamy and delicious. A visit was really the main reason I wanted to go to Marche Jean-Talon, but I didn't tell Tom since I knew he'd be distracted by the fresh vegetables.

25 Things About This Photoblog
- I love to wander around
- I can’t believe I created this in 2004. It has been a constant for me for years.
- In 2004 I lived with two roommates on the

- I spent weeks researching the purchase of my first digital camera, a Pentax Optio 550.
- My first camera ever was my Dad’s Pentax SLR. It’s older than me.
- It hadn’t been used for years when I rescued it from the bottom of the closet and took a photography class at

- Looking at older pictures on the blog helps me remember times, people and places that are starting to fade from my memory.

- I also have a camera phone, but I don’t post those snapshots because of their shoddy quality.

Winter in New York City
What a difference a few weeks make. The last set of pictures I took were bright and full of blues and whites. Today I was off work and it snowed for several hours. I decided to go for a walk with my camera and see what I could find.
It was very quiet in the neighborhood, as though no one wanted to make much noise. I walked to Gantry Plaza and could not see Manhattan. I did see a few kids making snowmen and several people out for a walk.
British "experts" said this is Blue Monday. I did find some blues and whites, but gray prevailed and I still had a great day.
